Making Worship Relevant to our Community
We strive to celebrate God’s love by bringing a message of relevance and hope to our community. We are strongly rooted in social justice and improving the lives of our human family.
A Personal Word from the Pastor
As Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Camp Springs (FBCCS), it is my privilege to minister to a broad range of people of varying backgrounds, ethnicities, experiences, ages, and life situations. It is a blessing to see an important teaching of scripture lived out in this congregation. I believe God would have us spiritually relate to Him through our relationship to Jesus Christ as Savior. And I believe we are to share that relationship with those around us. Keeping those relationships healthy, with God, and with each other, is a critical aspect of our Christian faith. I am happy to say I see this lived out at FBCCS in a variety of ways. We are a congregation that looks out for one another. We like sharing with others outside our membership and we like giving freely of our time and resources to meet what needs we can in the community. This is a warm, open, and friendly congregation. If you are looking for a place to worship among easily made friends, please come visit us and let us welcome you.
