ONLINE MEETING CONFERENCE

Starting March 29, 2020

We have been “zooming” as a congregation for a while now. We will be steadfast in our faith of God while we continue to hold our slightly modified services, until we can meet with one another in person join us on Saturdays at 10am for Bible Study and Sundays at 11am for Sunday service.

We are very blessed at FBCCS with incredible talent, here is our very own Jay Willis playing, Wondrous Love.

Do you miss hearing Jay play the piano, or did you enjoy listening to this piece of music? Than please join us for our zoom services so you can hear more, if you would like to participate, you have two options...

Option 1 -- You can send the church an email at fbccs6936@gmail.com, requesting an invite. Once we send you the email invite, open the email and click the link to join the zoom meeting (you will be able to see us - and if you have a web camera -- we can see you).

Option 2 -- You can log in via your home or cell phone line. Call 301-715-8592. Then enter the Meeting ID, 301-449-8987#. Then press # a second time. Then you will be in the meeting.

Thank you all for your continued support, prayers, and understanding as we learn a new way to be together, while we are all so far apart.

ALL IN PERSON WORSHIP SERVICES ARE CANCELED

Starting March 17, 2020 - until further notice

Dear Members and Friends of First Baptist Church,

As part of the Camp Springs community, we want to do our part to respond to the current circumstances with the corona-virus. We have decided to cancel our Sunday activities, choir rehearsals, and worship events for the next two weeks effective immediately .

We will be staying abreast of the most recent news and developments and make decisions about possible future cancellations as needed.  We ask you to be patient, be responsible, and do all you can to stay healthy and to help protect others around you.  As soon as we feel it is appropriate we will be resuming our normal schedule.

In the meantime, we ask for all of your prayers for our church, our families and our community at large.

As pastor I would ask you to observe a time of personal in-home worship on Sunday mornings.  A church is not limited by its building.  And even while separated we can lift up words of praise and prayers to our Gracious Lord and trust that He is still watching over us all.

Until we can gather again, May God Bless You All,

Pastor Tiefel
